The Art of Letting Go: Fold Form Jewelry Class Tuesday Aug 25th 11-2

One of our most popular classes back in Florida, this is sure to be a favorite here in Western NC and N Ga. 

In this class we will use the element of fire (torch) with the force of a hammer and take flat copper sheet and transform it into an organic, flowing piece of jewelry taking from the natural landscape around us of the flowing creek and the ridges and valleys of the beautiful mountains surrounding us. Let go of the rigidity of fine line jewelry into a more organic creation.

 Learn the chasing on air technique and basic line folds to create beautiful texture in jewelry designs.

A technique created by Charles Lewton Braine has become one of my very favorite techniques to make and to teach.
