Our blacksmithing classes are for those who want to feel the heat of the forge and the strength of the hammer. There is something primal in making iron or steel move like clay. Under the guidance of our resident blacksmith, Robert Noelke, you will learn the fundamentals of blacksmithing.
Small batch learning: we love to keep our classes small for more one on one learning and more anvil time for you.
The setting: surrounded by the majestic beauty of the blue ridge mountains with the fresh mountain air and the sounds of the flowing creek just feet away. Classes are held outdoors under a covered area.
